Love peace gratitude, In harmony, We sing be freeAfrica our beauty Africa deep face of understanding Wisdom and courage Eagle of Africa fly over us We call on the Most High Touch the people Heal Mother Africa Oh precious land Guide us your children To the way of the good road Back to the kingdom of love Love peace gratitude, In harmony, We sing be free Bright sun shine on all As we give thanks and meditate upon The holy flame of Remembrance Oh Ancient Africa The sound of the horn The wise ones May we always open ourselves To love and accept it The love of the Great Spirit In ourselves and in one another Africa teach us patience Humility and humour Love peace gratitude, In harmony, We sing be free Father bless your sacred sites in this land May the energies awaken our souls To the truth of brother-sisterhood Mother Africa you are our treasure Of inspiration and light Bless us to feel gratitude in our hearts Rainbow rain that falls from generous clouds Nourish our new seeds that we sow For future generations to behold.
